There is no stamp duty at all when you use CloudSign to conclude contracts.

Concluding contracts with CloudSign

Stamp duty is only accrued when concluding printed contracts, and stamp duty is not required when concluding contracts electronically (Article 2, Stamp Duty Act.)

The National Tax Agency has clarified that stamp duty is not accrued when contracts are concluded on “electronic or magnetic records,” and contracts concluded using e-mail, FAX or other formats also are not subject to stamp duty.

The National Tax Agency website also outlines that stamp duty is not accrued when contracts are concluded on “electronic or magnetic records.”

Printing out contracts concluded using CloudSign

Stamp duty is applied to the “original copy” of contracts. When contracts are concluded using CloudSign, the PDF file is considered the original copy, and stamp duty is not applied when printing out a copy of such documents.
