Operation method

For HTML emails

For text emails

1. Click the link in the “Confirmation Request” email you received from CloudSign.

  • Clicking the link in the email opens up a screen for checking documents.

Precautions

  • URLs for checking documents are valid for a period of 10 days from when they are generated.

  • If the term of validity has expired, contact the sender to send you a reminder (resend the email).

  • If “No viewing rights” is displayed, click here for solutions.

2. Read through the terms of use, and click the “Agree to terms of use to check document” button.

3. Check through the content of the document when it is displayed.

4. After entering the specified input fields and confirming the entered details, click the “Consent to document.”

5. Another confirmation screen will be displayed, so click the “Agree and finalize” button.

  • The document will be successfully concluded at this point, and an electronic signature will be applied to the document to prevent the content from being tampered with.

6. This completes checking and consenting to the documents.

  • After consenting, you will receive a successful conclusion of agreement email. See here for how to verify concluded documents.

Detailed operation method

When multiple documents have been specified

  • Please switch through documents, and use “< >” to change pages.

When input fields have been specified

  • Click the “text field” and “stamp” to enter the required details, and click the appropriate checkboxes for any required “checkboxes.”

  • Input fields are specified as necessary by the sender, and documents may also be sent without any fields.

Adding a “stamp”

  • Entering text into the “stamp” field generates a pseudo-stamp.

  • With this service, documents are actually concluded when all parties click the “Consent” button. The “stamp” is simply a pseudo-stamp that conforms to common business practices. This does not have any direct relation to credibility, and there is no issue even without a “stamp.”

Rejecting documents

  • See here to reject any received documents due to errors or other reasons.

Forwarding documents

  • Forwarding the actual confirmation request email you receive will not leave any record on CloudSign or within the electronic signature of the document being forwarded to the parties actually consenting to the document.
As such, forwarding the actual confirmation request email is not recommended.

  • Using CloudSign’s forwarding function makes it possible to leave a record of such information, allowing approvers to conclude agreements while retaining maximum credibility of those concluded documents. See here for how to forward documents.

Receiving documents with high-level authentication requests specified

  • If the documents you have received are specified with high-level authentication request functions, you will need to register an account. Check here for more details.
